EDUC 429 - Secondary Reading and Teaching Strategies

(3 credits)

Emphasis is on reading comprehension, strategies, and study skills in content areas, lesson planning, lesson presentation skills, and media techniques appropriate to the instructional process. Prerequisites: Admitted to the Teacher Education Program, EDFD 400 - Metacognitive Learner: B-6th Grade, and EDFD 401 - Metacognitive Learner: K-12 and 5-12. Grade only. Offered each semester. Course may be retaken once due to student withdrawal or earning less than a C grade.
