This course is intended to study in depth the different Spanish literary genres from the middle ages to the present. By studying its foundational texts, the course is also intended to understand the historical evolution of the Spanish language as well as the different threads that woven together create what we refer to as “Spanish Culture.” Prerequisite: △ SPAN 301 - Spanish Composition and Conversation or SPAN 310 - Spanish for Native/Heritage Speakers. Grade only. Offered annually.
