An examination of the role, process and power of the mass media in American politics. Includes an examination of media impact and effects at the individual, group, institutional, and cultural levels in American politics. Prerequisite: POLS 120 - Introduction to American Politics or instructor permission. Grade or P/NC. Offered when demand warrants.
