The first of three practice courses to prepare students as generalist practitioners able to provide services and intervene for change at all systems levels. Values, ethics, and interviewing skills with diverse populations stressed. Prerequisite: Admission to the social work major. Grade only. Offered each semester on Winona and Rochester campuses.
