GEOS 316 - Geographic Information Systems


(3 credits)

This class will introduce the theory and practice of using geographical information systems (GIS) to display, analyze, and present a wide variety of spatial data. Students will become proficient with ArcGIS software, the industry-leading program. Prerequisite: Any natural science course or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
