ECON 308 - Topics in Economics


(3 credits)

This course is designed to provide in-depth study of areas of interest to students and faculty that are not available in other courses. The target audience includes economics and business students as well as students from all disciplines across the university. Topics may include exciting developments in economic theory, current policy debates, social and global issues or any other field of study related to the practice and use of economics, depending on the instructor. Recommended prerequisites: ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics  and ECON 202 - Principles of Macroeconomics . Grade or P/NC. Offered at department discretion. Repeatable up to 6 credits as topics change.
