◆ NURS 375 - Research and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice


(3 credits theory) Meets GEP Math/Critical Analysis Intensive. (RN Baccalaureate Completion Program)

This course introduces evidence-based practice and prepares students to be critical consumers of the evidence used to inform professional practice. The course explores research concepts, qualitative and quantitative designs and foundational statistics. Students will analyze, critique, and interpret research evidence, and collaborate in addressing clinical problems related to improvement processes that are used for health care settings.  Prerequisite: Admission to the RN-BS Completion Program or accepted under special status. Grade only. Offered fall and spring semesters.
