GEOS 100 - Minnesota’s Rocks and Waters

(3 credits) Meets GOAL 3 and GOAL 10.

An introduction to Earth’s many systems (from rocks and tectonics to water and the atmosphere and everything in between) with a special focus on how they relate to Minnesota’s geology and environment. Grade only. Offered annually. Note: Students may enroll in either GEOS 100 or GEOS 101 - Minnesota’s Rocks and Waters with Lab, but they cannot earn credit for both courses.
