SOC 460 - Internship: Sociology


(1-12 credits)

This experience is designed as an intensive, professionally supervised internship within an organization relevant to sociological practice. Emphasis is on the student assuming professional responsibilities and applying relevant knowledge and skills within the organization. Course is individually arranged. Prerequisites: △ SOC 377 - Social Theory  ◎ SOC 378 - Applied Social Research  or ◎ SOC 379 - Mixed Research Methods ; at least three additional upper-division Sociology courses; and instructor permission. Corequisite: △ SOC 463 - Sociology Internship Seminar . P/NC only. Offered each semester.
