GEOS 305 - Earth Materials

An introduction to the nature, occurrence and identification of the materials that make up the solid Earth, including minerals, rocks, and soil. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisites: CHEM 212 - Principles of Chemistry I and GEOS 235 - Earth and Life Through Time or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester).
