MATH 107 - Mathematics for Social Justice


(3 credits) Meets GOAL 5 and GOAL 9

This course explores the intersection of mathematics and social justice, aiming to empower students with analytical tools to critically engage with issues of equity, access, and fairness in society. Through a combination of theoretical concepts, practical applications, and case studies, students will investigate how mathematical principles influence and are influenced by various social, economic, and political structures.  Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester).
