MSW 690 - Clinical Practicum & Seminar I

This course builds upon the generalist focused MSW 590/591 foundation practicum I and II experience or a students BSW experience and deepens the learning focused on clinical social work practice in an agency, under the supervision of a social work field instructor. The integrative seminar offers students opportunities to incorporate and apply clinical social work theories and concepts into their advanced practicum placement experiences. Students complete a minimum 600 clinical practicum hours over two semesters (clinical practicum I & II). Prerequisite: admission to MSW program or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered each semester as needed.
