(3 credits) Meets GEP Writing Intensive.

The study of anatomical, mechanical, maturational, psychological, and physiological kinesiology as it applies to the practice of physical education teaching and coaching. The major focus is to present the scientific principles that constitute the basis for sound athletic coaching practices and physical education instruction. Prerequisite: ENG 111 - College Reading and Writing, ENG 112 - Research Writing, or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered fall, spring, and summer terms.
