NURS 435 - Holistic Assessment

(4 credits theory) (Baccalaureate RN Completion)

Students will incorporate assessment findings, the social determinants of health, and cultural awareness to provide care for individuals across the lifespan. Students will build on their current nursing knowledge and physical exam assessment skills through the collection, processing, and interpretation of subjective and objective client data to promote optimal health outcomes. Holistic approaches to care will be integrated throughout the course. Students will also integrate strategies to improve their own health and wellness. Prerequisite: admission to the RN-BS Completion Program or accepted under special status. Grade only. Offered fall and spring semesters.
