CS 485 - Database Systems Design

The design and development of database management systems. Topics include the design and implementation of database applications, integration of relational database systems with object-oriented programming paradigm, database file management, deadlock handling, security and integrity problems, and distributed database management systems. Prerequisites: ◆ CS 341 - Data Structures and △ CS 385 - Applied Database Management Systems. Grade or P/NC. Offered at least once annually on Winona and Rochester campuses.
