HERS 312 - School & Community Health

This course provides students with a foundation in the theory and practice of community health promotion. Students will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of the socio-cultural, political, and economic factors involved in community health. By the end of the course, students will have the theoretical and practical background necessary to enable them to play a coordinating and facilitating role in planning and implementing effective community health promotion initiatives. Prerequisite: ✽ HERS 204 - Personal & Community Health. Grade only. Offered spring semester.
