RTTR 390 - Tourism and Sustainable Destination

(3 credits) Meets GOAL 10.

Students will be exposed to and understand the positive and negative impacts of tourism and consider ways to maximize benefits and minimize negative impacts for destinations. Students will also explore the impact of climate change on tourist destinations and develop solutions for creating more resilient and sustainable destinations. Offered on travel study program only. Grade only. Offered as part of travel study program.
