SOC 216 - Social Problems

(3 credits) Meets GOAL 5 and GOAL 9.

This course examines selected social problems in the United States. Students learn to analyze social problems in terms of both formal research and the social construction of social problems. Recommended prerequisite: SOC 150 - Introduction to Sociology . Grade only. Offered occasionally.
