THAD 357 - Ballet III

This intermediate level technique course develops range and depth of physical understanding regarding one’s own movement skills, applied to an expanded ballet vocabulary. A studio course, daily physical practices seek to refine efficient function and expand expressive abilities. A focus on experiential knowledge is supported a survey of historical and cultural content as well as viewing and analyzing dance performances. Prerequisite: ✽ THAD 257 - Ballet II, a score of 30 on the Ballet Placement Audition Test, or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually. Repeatable once.
