GEOS 235 - Earth and Life Through Time

The principles of plate tectonics, stratigraphy and paleontology and their use in reconstructing the physical, chemical, and biological evolution of the Earth. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisites: Any 100 - 150 level GEOS course with lab, or GEOS 215 - Earth System Science, or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester). Note: Additional course fee.
