DSCI 492 - Internship in Data Science

(1-6 credits)

Provides the student with experience and training in data science techniques through an internship. For each credit hour, a student is expected to work two hours per week throughout the duration of the semester. Prerequisites: ◎ DSCI 395 - Professional Skill Development for Data Science and instructor permission. Grade or P/NC. Offered when demand warrants. Note: A maximum of 3 credits from this course may be applied towards the statistics major requirements. Per Winona State University policy, a maximum of 16 internship credits may be applied toward a BS degree. Students should work with their advisor to determine the proper grading option to be used for this course. Repeatabile up to 16 credits.
