PESS 208 - Introduction to Winter Activities (1 credit)
This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to help a variety of populations enjoy winter activities as part of adventure education and school based educational programming. The course is designed to provide students with basic fundamental experiences in numerous areas of winter based outdoor recreation activities such as ice climbing, fat biking, snowshoeing, snow shelter construction, and other activities based on environmental conditions. Grade only. Offered spring semester.
