MGMT 337 - Workplace Health, Safety and Security

This course is designed to give students an overview of employee health, safety and security within a workplace. The importance of reducing or eliminating on-the-job accidents and injuries and compliance with OSHA regulations are main features of the course. Safety manuals, safety training and the role of Human Resource professionals in safety are key aspects that will be included. Prerequisite: Admission to College of Business or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
