PESS 146, Introduction to Ice Climbing serves as an introductory course to the sport of ice climbing. This course focuses on basic knowledge in the use of ice climbing equipment, rope and belaying skills, as well as fundamental climbing movement. All classes are taught at the Winona Ice Park. Grade only. Offered alternate semesters (usually spring). Note: Course has a $75.00 course fee for ice climbing equipment rental.
