EDUC 497 - Individual Educational Topics

(1-6 credits)

The purpose of this course is to investigate both historical and current educational topics. Topics may include but not limited to: 1) educational settings (elementary or early childhood) 2) classroom environment and management 3) individual child studies 4) student success and motivation, 5) standards and accountability, and 6) education in alternative settings. Prerequisites: Instructor permission and completion of professional education sequence or educator’s license. Grade or P/NC. Offered when demand warrants. Repeatable up to 6 credits.
