ACCT 685 - Professional Certifications for Accountants

This course will introduce students to the various professional certifications that accountants may consider in order to enhance their knowledge and career opportunities. Students will be required to work toward attaining one professional accounting certification during this course, such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Prerequisite: admission to the program. P/NC only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
