Selected topics regarding the science and medicine of sports and exercise participation. Areas to be covered include pharmacological aspects, overtraining and overreaching, the effect of exercise on reproductive function, and particularly exercise for special populations. Prerequisites: △ HERS 340 - Physiology of Exercise and NURS 366 - Pathophysiology.
