Purpose
Library Science coursework prepares students to meet the challenges of an increasingly complex information landscape including open web sources. Coursework emphasizes critical thinking skills to develop robust and effective search strategies and source vetting. Coursework also explores differing standards for knowledge creation, dissemination, and discourse in academic disciplines, professions, industries, and communities of practice.
