36 S.H. (Minor required in another discipline or in another language.)
If a student takes SPAN 202 - Intermediate Spanish II and gets a retroactive credit for SPAN 201 - Intermediate Spanish I (with a Pass grade), SPAN 201 will count towards the major.
Students can take one elective class (up to 4 S.H.) in English.
(In a Spanish-speaking region and pending advisor’s approval. Only up to 4 S.H. in English can be counted towards the major. Up to 5 additional S.H. can be counted toward the major if requirements are completed in Spanish.)
