The Child Advocacy Studies curriculum focuses on experiential, interdisciplinary, ethical, and culturally sensitive child-focused content that provides a common knowledge base for advocacy and response to social issues.

Students wishing to complete the CAST 477/478 capstone must first complete the CAST Experience Proposal (available on the CAST website) and have faculty approval prior to registering for these courses.

If you have been arrested, charged, or convicted of any criminal offense, you should investigate the impact that the arrest, charge, or conviction may have on your chances for employment in the field you intend to study or on your chances to obtain field experiences or internship opportunities.

Minor Requirements

Students must receive a grade “C” or better in each required and elective course. In addition, students are expected to adhere to the ethical standards of the program.
