GS 315 - Special Topics in Japanese Studies may be taken for up to 12 credits of which only 9 S.H. can be applied toward Section II above (Electives) and only 3 S.H. may be applied to Section III above, the General Electives. Note:
Requirements of Section II and III may also be met by taking approved courses abroad as suggested below. Courses taken abroad will transfer to WSU as substitutes for GS 315 Special Topics in Japanese Studies. Akita International University Option
Students studying abroad at Akita International University or Toyo University may elect to apply up to twelve (12) credits toward their minor. No more than six (6) S.H. may be taken for credit toward the minor from the same discipline area, e.g., Linguistics, Business, Japanese Culture, Japanese History and Politics. Note:
