2.5 GPA required.
C grade or better required in PSY courses. Letter grade required in all major courses unless otherwise noted.
Psychology Option A Major Map

Psychology Graduation Requirements
- No more than 3 S.H. of general introductory psychology transferred to WSU can be credited toward a psychology major.
- No more than 6 S.H. in developmental psychology (child, adolescent, adult, lifespan, etc.) transferred to WSU can be credited toward a psychology major.
- Transfer students must complete at least 18 S.H. in psychology at WSU for the option A major.
- No more than 6 S.H. of PSY 400 - Independent Study or Research and/or PSY 404 - Internship may count toward a psychology major.
- Online courses may not substitute for upper-division core courses in psychology.
Content Domains (9-10 S.H.)
Students must complete one course from at least three of the following areas: Learning/Cognition Domain
Social/Personality Domain
Applied Domain (3 S.H.)
Choose one: Diversity Domain (0 S.H.)*
Choose one: Integration Domain (3 S.H.)
Choose one: Electives (9 S.H.)
Students must complete an additional 9 S.H. of Psychology courses numbered above 210. Courses listed in any of the domains above will be considered as electives if not used to fulfill one of the above domain requirements. Dual Degrees
Students wishing to complete two degrees concurrently, (example: Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science) must complete a minimum of an additional 30 semester hours above the required 120-128 credit hours. Students must complete all major requirements under both degrees, including separate minors if required.
