Study Abroad: Akita International University
Sections II and III requirements may also be met by taking approved courses abroad. Courses taken abroad will transfer to WSU as substitutes for GS 315 - Special Topics in Japanese Studies .
Students studying abroad at Akita International University or Toyo University may elect to apply up to twelve (12) credits toward their minor. No more than six (6) S.H. may be taken for credit toward the minor from the same discipline area, e.g., Linguistics, Business, Japanese Culture, Japanese History and Politics.
Information on available courses may be obtained through the official websites of Akita International University and Toyo University. Students are urged to meet with the Japanese Language instructor prior to departure.
