Statistics (STAT) - Minor

2.0 GPA required.

Letter grade required in all minor courses unless otherwise noted.

Either teaching or non-teaching degree candidates may take the BS minor in statistics option; however, this is not a certifiable minor for teaching.

Two-Course Introductory Sequence (6 S.H.)


A two-course introductory sequence is required and must be chosen from the following. Other courses may be substituted with permission of the Mathematics/Statistics Department chairperson.

Electives (12 S.H.)


At least 6 S.H. of 300/400-level Statistics courses (320 or higher) and up to 6 S.H. from courses listed below. Other courses may be substituted with permission of the Mathematics/Statistics Department chairperson.

300/400-Level Statistics Electives (6 S.H.)


At least 6 S.H. chosen from STAT 320 or higher.
