Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) - Minor

Overview
The Child Advocacy Studies curriculum focuses on experiential, interdisciplinary, ethical, and culturally sensitive child-focused content that provides a common knowledge base for advocacy and response to social issues.

Field experience in Criminal Justice, Psychology, or Social Work may fulfill the requirements for CAST 477 if the field experience involves substantial work with children. The CAST program director will review the field experience placement and make a determination regarding fulfillment of the field experience requirement on an individual basis. Electives (6 credits)
