The Geospatial Information Science minor option provides students with a background in powerful computing technology used to solve problems with mapping and spatial analytics, and the skills needed for success in this growing interdisciplinary field. Because of the varied and interdisciplinary applications of GIS, this minor will compliment many major programs of study.
