This program allows students to create a minor utilizing several departments to meet their particular educational goals or to create a minor from departments in which a minor is not currently available. Up to nine credits in the Individualized Studies minor may duplicate other courses in the student’s program or in the General Education Program Goal Areas 1 to 10.
A maximum of nine credits applying to the minor may be taken on a P/NC basis. All other WSU policies apply. For a checklist of the University’s graduation requirements, see Academic Policies & University Requirements.
12 credits must be upper-division courses (300/400-level)
6 credits may be any level (100 to 400-level)
Students declaring the Individualized Studies minor must have on file a Student Program Plan for the minor. The Student Program Plan is developed in the required ◎ INDS 300 - Academic Planning and Career Foundations. It is advised that students complete INDS 300 in their first semester as an Individualized Studies minor.
