Students majoring or graduating with an AA are not eligible for minors.

This requirement is met through completion of other goal areas. Goal 3: Natural Sciences (7 credits)
Requires one course with a lab and encourages courses from two different subject areas. - Natural Science lab requirement (4 credits)
- One additional Natural Science course requirement (3 credits)
Goal 4: Mathematics/Logic Reasoning (3-4 credits)
Requires a minimum of 3 credits Goal 5: History & Social Behavioral Sciences (9 credits)
Requires courses from at least two different subject areas. Goal 6: Humanities & Fine Arts (9 credits)
- Fine Arts course (3 credits)
- Humanities course (3 credits)
- One additional Fine Arts or Humanities course (3 credits)
Goal 7: Human Diversity (3 credits)

Students can choose up to 20 additional credits to meet the 60 credits required for the Associate’s Degree. Note
MNTC requires a minimum of 40 credits. This requirement is a summary of Goals 1-10. Even with the completion of all WSU GEP requirements, students must also have earned a total of 40 credits in the Goal Areas 1-10 of the General Education Program to meet the MNTC requirements (this does not include the Physical Development & Wellness requirement). |
