Paralegal Certificate Major Map
Those wishing to advance their paralegal career or seeking a career change can take advantage of our Paralegal Certificate program. In as little as two semesters, one can earn an American Bar Association approved Paralegal Certificate. Not only can this open new opportunities as a paraprofessional, but it could also help advance within one’s current role in the legal environment. Students learn from practicing attorneys in our area who are at the cusp of modern paralegal practice, in substantive areas such as civil and criminal procedure, contracts, family law, and wills and estates. Students also learn cutting edge technologies to help them handle the modern law office, as well as learning the skills necessary to coordinate and manage the affairs of a law office. Finally, students can enhance their legal research and writing skills through our program.
Note: Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law.
