Program Description: The Performance Analytics master’s degree is offered through the Health, Exercise, and Rehabilitative Sciences . This degree provides an intersection between exercise physiology, biomechanics, data science, behavior change, and research. Graduates of the Performance Analytics master’s degree will have the analytic skills to assess new technologies/applications and interface with large and complex sport and human performance datasets. Graduates will use high tech data to provide individual and organizational level forecasting and programming to optimize human performance.
Prospective Students: An undergraduate degree in human performance, exercise science, sport and exercise, athletic training, coaching or another related field. Prerequisite courses: anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, psychology, nutrition and statistics.
Career Opportunities: Private corporations, universities, professional sports, or research. Exercise Scientist, Personal Trainer, Sports Injury Forecasting, Sports Performance Specialist, Sport Performance, Analytics Director and Strength and Conditioning.
