Pre-Forensics Option
Students interested in a graduate program in forensic science should consider taking the few extra courses required for Pre-Forensics (PREF) . All applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree in a chemistry-related field. A degree in chemistry fits best with the required courses and can be met with this General Chemistry (CHEG) Major. Selection of the PHYS 221 - University Physics I & PHYS 222 - University Physics II option, coupled with the extra courses, results in an ACS-approved bachelor’s degree in Pre-Forensics. Students should meet early with an advisor to plan their programs of study. Required Courses (39 credits)
Required Electives (12-13 credits)
