Nursing RN-to-BS Completion (NRNA) - BS Major

40 credits
2.0 GPA required.
2.5 GPA required for program admission. 2.0 GPA required to graduate.
Required courses must be taken for letter grade. C grade or better required in major courses.
A total of 120 semester credits are needed for the BS in nursing degree and include the following:
- 40 upper division credits (level 300-499) - 30 required major core credits in the RN-BS program and 10 elective credits
- 64+ credits transferred in from your ADN program
- Completion of General Education credits (Minnesota Transfer Curriculum [MnTC] Goal Areas 1-10) - required for all baccalaureate degrees
The RN-to-BS Completion Program is for students who already hold a registered nurse license and are now seeking a BS degree. Detailed program requirements are available on the Nursing website.
