The Computer Science major is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both the theoretical and applied aspects of the discipline, while introducing current topics and industry practices. Students may pursue a generalist program or choose from four distinct concentrations, allowing them to explore specialized areas within computer science.

The Computer Science generalist program (CSCS) offers a comprehensive study of the theory, design, and application of computing systems to address complex problems across a wide range of domains. Graduates are well prepared for careers such as software developers, systems engineers, and data scientists.
