◎ NURS 454 - Leadership in Professional Practice

(4 S.H.) (1 S.H. theory/3 S.H. practicum)

Synthesis course encapsulating the essence of the baccalaureate nursing role. Students consolidate their understanding of evidence-based, quality and safe nursing care. They will collaborate within clinical settings to improve systems and patient outcomes. Prerequisites: △ NURS 443 - Professional Practice III, NURS 444 - Leadership in Contemporary Health Care Settings. Pre/Co Requisite: NURS 427 - Clinical Prevention and Population Health II - Public Health, NURS 446 - High Acuity/Progressive Care, NURS 453 - Professional Practice IV, NURS 458 - Complex Mental Health Care.
