△ PHYS 370 - Optics

(4 S.H.)

A study of geometrical optics, the wave theory of light, interference, diffraction, polarization, magneto-and electro-optics, lasers, and holography. Lecture-laboratory course. Prerequisites: MATH 213 - Calculus II  and PHYS 202 - General Physics II  or PHYS 231 - University Physics IB  and PHYS 232 - University Physics IIB . Grade or P/NC. Offered every two years.
