Aging is not merely a physical process, but a social one as well, with individual and social implications. Using sociology and social gerontology, students will study the changing roles of elders, the social problems around aging, and other topical issues. Prerequisite: SOC 150 - Introduction to Sociology. Grade only. Offered yearly.
