(4 S.H.) (3 S.H. theory/1 S.H. practicum) (Baccalaureate RN Completion)

Focuses on assessment and evidence-based practices to assess protective and predictive factors that influence the health of individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations. Public health concepts are introduced along with population-focused interventions. Prerequisite: admission to the RN-BS Completion Program. Corequisites: ◆ NURS 375 - Research and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice , NURS 415 - Concepts in Professional Nursing , & NURS 435 - Holistic Assessment . Grade only. Offered fall semester.
