SPED 445 - Assessment/Methods for Students with Learning Disabilities

(3 S.H.)

Advanced skills and understanding of academic, processing and behavioral assessments, curriculum and instruction programs for students with learning disabilities. Prerequisites: SPED 300 - Children and Youth with Exceptionalities , SPED 405 - Student Management Systems , SPED 410 - Introduction to Assessment/Methods , ◎ SPED 420 - Special Education Administrative Procedures , and departmental permission. Pre/corequisites: SPED 425 - Inclusion in Regular Classrooms  and SPED 430 - Characteristics of Students with Disabilities . Corequisite: SPED 411 - Practicum . Grade only. Offered each semester.
