HLA 420 - Designing Wellness Programs


(3 S.H.)

This course is designed to teach students the skills they need to plan effective health education/wellness programs for worksites. Students will study the theory and practice of wellness programming. They will gain experience in assessing health and wellness at worksites and in planning effective wellness programs. Prerequisites: Admission to HLA major, HLA 300 - Foundations of Healthcare and Online Learning , and HLA 310 - Fundamentals of Health and Wellness . Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
