MSW 631 - Multidimensional Clinical Assessment II (3 S.H.)
This course is intended to provide students with the knowledge, skills, values, and cognitive and affective abilities to conduct holistic clinical assessments. Students learn to incorporate the previously acquired and new assessment skills into the appropriate use of mental health diagnostic tools such as the DSM. Students have opportunities to develop and demonstrate knowledge, skills, and values in various course experiences. This is the second part of a two-course sequence, aligned with MSW 630. Pre/Corequisite: MSW 630 - Multidimensional Clinical Assessment I or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered each semester as needed.
